| 英文描述 | Hypomagnesemia is most common in adult cows but can also be seen in young stock and males. Outbreaks are usually associated with grazing on fast-growing pastures in areas with a temperate climate but also have been reported in confined cattle on controlled feeding programs. Sudden death without the episodic tetany usually associated with hypomagnesemia has been described in cattle that did not have concurrent hypocalcemia. Hypomagnesemia occasionally causes clinical signs in sheep and goats. Calves fed whole milk for prolonged periods of time can develop hypomagnesemia. |
