| 中文描述 | 反芻獸的鼓脹，可分為餵食豆科植物與穀類所引發的泡沫型鼓脹，以及氣體鼓脹。此兩種情形，可以經由對插入胃管與灌食介面活性劑兩種治療方式的反應來進行區別診斷。但是如果沒有進行治療，瘤胃鼓脹會導致胸腔壓迫而死亡。牛隻如果做出異常的姿勢，如背部朝下躺臥在飼料槽中，也可能會引發鼓脹，須趕快將動物扶正。 |
| 英文描述 | Bloat in ruminants can be frothy bloat associated with legumes or grain feeding, or free gas bloat. They are differentiated and treated by passage of a stomach tube and response to surfactants. When left untreated may be fatal due to thoracic compression by the bloating rumen. Ruminants in unusual postures, such as trapped on their back in a feed trough, will bloat; treat by righting the animal. |
