| 英文描述 | Retinal degeneration or dysplasia has been described in Toggenburg goats. Clinical signs can be present shortly after birth. Tapetal area around the optic discs appears hyperreflective. Dx by histology of retina, which can show diffuse photoreceptor and outer nuclear layer retinal atrophy. No treatment has been described, and there is the suspicion that this is hereditary (Wolfer and Grahn). |
