| 英文描述 | Hydrogen sulfide is one of the most important toxic gases in veterinary medicine. It builds up in manure during anaerobic decomposition, and when slurry is agitated prior to removal a large amount of gas can be released, that is toxic to man and animals. Most commonly seen with pigs and cattle. Exposure to 400 ppm or higher in the air leads to sudden death. Dx by history and measurement of gases in the air. |
