| 英文描述 | Failure of the cervix to dilate occasionally causes dystocia in ruminants. This can be primary due to fibrosis, but is more commonly secondary to uterine inertia, torsion or abortion, or secondary to diseases such as pregnancy toxemia. Dx by palpation of the cervix and history. Sometimes called ringwomb. Fibrosis of the cervix causing a failure to dilate has been mentioned as a cause of dystocia in the bitch. |
