| 英文描述 | A syndrome of ventral edema has been described in Angora goats. The edema is often severe, and there can be swelling of the ventral abdomen and brisket, sometimes extending up the neck to the head and down into the legs. This is most common in the post-shearing period, and 10-15% of the flock can be affected. Dx by exclusion of other causes of edema such as parasitism. The cause of the edema is unclear. There is usually spontaneous recovery. |
