| 英文描述 | Abscesses are a very common problem in goats and sheep. Usually due to CORYNEBACTERIUM PSEUDOTUBERCULOSIS (caseous lymphadenitis) but other organisms might be isolated particularly ACTINOMYCES PYOGENES in goats. Lesions might be found in various parts of the body following spread from material in skin or lung abscesses; if the udder is invaded there can be mastitis. Visceral abscesses can occur in sheep and goats without external abscessation and are associated with 'thin ewe syndrome'. |
