| 英文描述 | CANDIDA species yeasts can cause skin disease. Skin disease due to this organism has been seen in protein-deficient goats. The signs were fairly symmetrical, and were not pruritic or painful. Dx by smears of skin scrapings stained with new methylene blue or Diff-Quik showing the budding yeasts, or observing the budding yeasts and pseudohyphae in the follicular keratin on biopsy. Cutaneous infection with CANDIDA albicans was also described in swine feeding and sleeping in moist garbage. Lesions were covered with a moist gray exudate, and there was some deep blue discoloration of the skin. |
