| 英文描述 | Folliculitis is inflammation of hair follicles, and furunculosis implies rupture of hair follicles. Common in goats, and may be due to bacterial or fungal agents, or demodectic mange. Coagulase-positive staphylococci most commonly isolated. If severe can cause systemic signs. Lesions usually develop on the caudal aspect of udder, although may also be found in the fold of the flank, muzzle, pinnae, and distal limbs. |
