| 英文描述 | Impetigo is a superficial pustular dermatitis that does not involve hair follicles. Commonly begins on udder near time of parturition. Base of teats and intramammary sulcus most commonly affected. May spread to teats, ventral abdomen and other parts of the body. Sometimes only the undersurface of the tail involved. Dx by clinical signs and culture. When severe is called furunculosis and may lead to subcutaneous abscessation. Coagulase-positive staphylococi most common isolate. Pruritus and pain are rare. |
