| 英文描述 | LINOGNATHUS STENOPSIS and DAMALINIA CAPRAE are the lice affecting most goats, but DAMALINIA LIMBATUS and D. CRASSIPES may affect Angora goats, and LINOGNATHUS AFRICANUS has been found on goats in rare cases. Dx by signs and identification of the parasite. Affected animals often suffer from concurrent problems, but very heavy infestations are reported to lead to anemia and weight loss, or even death. Keds, MELOPHAGUS, may also affect goats. |
