| 英文描述 | Some does with pseudopregnancy do not develop hydrometra. In these animals there is a bloody vaginal discharge after a period of anestrus. In does bred 2-3 months earlier this is indistinguishable from early embryonic loss. Some does however, develop this syndrome without having been bred. Does may conceive during a heat a few days following the discharge, and can carry a normal pregnancy or have repeated false pregnancies. Does which do not return to estrus (despite not having been bred) after the first estrus cycle in the fall can be treated with prostaglandin for a possible pseudopregnancy (Smith). |
