| 英文描述 | HYPODERMA are also known as cattle grubs and heel flies; nodules are found mainly on the back of cattle in winter and spring and have a characteristic breathing hole; this parasites damages hides. Due to HYPODERMA BOVIS and H. LINEATUM in North America. This is amost exclusively a disease of cattle, which are the normal host, but there are reports that HYPODERMA have affected other large animals. The tropical cattle grub DERMATOBIA HOMINIS affects cattle from Mexico to northern Argentina. Circumscribed raised nodules about 15 mm in diameter and 4 mm high in the skin of the upper body are caused by larve of the warble fly STROBILOESTRUS in Africa. |
