| 英文描述 | Although malicious poisoning with strychnine is possible, most toxicity is due to rodenticides or overdoses of medicinals containing strychnine, such as nux vomica. Poisoned animals become very excitable, and may seizure at the slightest stimulus. Death can occur during a seizure. The signs are characteristic, and the diagnosis is confirmed by tissue analysis. |
