| 英文描述 | Ectopic ureter is characterized by a urethral opening in a location other than the normal position on the trigone of the bladder. This anomaly affects either sex, and usually presents as urinary incontinence since birth. This is the most common cause of urinary incontinence in puppies and kittens and can also be seen in other species. Dx by antegrade or retrograde contrast radiography and/or endoscopic visualization of the ectopic ureteral openings. Hair loss due to urine scald is often present. Can develop secondary cystitis. |
