| 中文描述 | 負流行性感冒病毒第三型自綿羊和山羊分離出，抗體很普遍。曾實驗性地用肺炎肺臟中分離到的病毒讓疾病出現在綿羊身上。山羊實驗性地給牛種的PI-3出現顯微鏡下的病變，顯示病毒感染肺臟。山羊給一個羊種的病毒出現淋巴細胞功能抑制。病毒在肺炎的小山羊驗屍時分離到。雖然PI-3在自然發生的呼吸疾病中的角色仍不清楚，有些人相信這種病原可能使綿羊容易發生細菌性肺炎病可能引起小山羊的疾病。由升高的力價或病毒分離診斷。 |

| 英文描述 | Parainfluenza type 3 virus has been isolated from sheep and goats, and antibodies are common. Disease has been produced experimentally in sheep using viruses isolated from pneumonic lungs. Goats experimentally given a bovine strain of PI-3 developed microscopic lesions indicating viral infection of the lung. Goats given an ovine strain developed supression of lymphocyte function. The virus was isolated at necropsy from a kid with pneumonia. Although the role of PI-3 in naturally occurring respiratory disease is unknown, some believe this agent may predispose sheep to development of bacterial pneumonia and might cause disease in kids. Dx by rising titers or viral isolation. |
