| 英文描述 | Caused by CLOSTRIDIUM NOVYI, C. SORDELLI, and C. EDEMATIENS, which cause inflammatory edema of the head and neck. Occurs in rams 1-2 years old and has been reported in bucks. Is associated with fighting. Dx by identification of the organism in affected rams. 2-4 % of the ram flock usually affected, but can go higher. Death occurs in 2-3 days. |
