| 英文描述 | Can occur in any area of the spine, in any species, and signs are determined by the location of the injury. Sudden onset of signs. If displacement of the vertebrae is severe enough it might be palpable, and crepitus may be felt. Dx by clinical signs and radiography. Osteomalacia or primary or metasatic bone neoplasia predispose to fractures. In very rare cases scar or callus formation at the site of a spinal fracture causes signs of progressive myelopathy. |
