| 中文描述 | 假性狂犬病是由α皰疹病毒，豬第一型皰疹病毒引起的疾病。 通常致命。 透過病毒的辨識來診斷。 綿羊，山羊，馬和貓罕見此病。 通常透過吃感染的豬或者藉由吃到感染豬的食肉動物裡傳送。 貓自然的疾病已經沒被在美國報告，但是貓易受這種疾病影響。 有神經病學的跡象的嚴厲的搔癢 應該引起猜疑，但是已經被在狗裡發現不會搔癢了。 |
| 英文描述 | Aujeszky's disease (pseudorabies) is caused by an alpha herpesvirus, SUID HERPESVIRUS 1. Usually fatal. Dx by identification of the virus. Rare in sheep, goats, horses, and cats. Usually transmitted from infected swine or (in carnivores) by eating infected swine offal. Natural disease in cats has not been reported in the United States, but the cat is susceptible to the disease. Severe pruritus with neurologic signs should arouse suspicions, but has been seen in the dog without pruritus. |
