| 英文描述 | Diet can be a cause of noninfectious diarrhea in all animals, particulary young ones. In dogs and cats, overfeeding, scavenging, or a rapid change in diet can cause a diarrhea that is usually self-limiting. In calves fed at 10% body weight and 20% dry matter using milk replacer, diarrhea was induced. Overfeeding of liquid has also increased rates of diarrhea. Foals with a high intake of milk replacer developed diarrhea earlier and for a longer time than foals fed recommended amounts. Placing young grazing animals into lush pasture or changing feeds can cause transient diarrhea. Dx by history and rule out of other causes. |
