| 英文描述 | Most melanomas in horses are not malignant, and present as skin masses with no other signs, but they can occasionally become malignant with spread to other parts of the body such as the abdominal cavity and lungs. Congenital malignant melanomas have been reported in foals, and a malignant melanoma was diagnosed in the foot of a horse. Dx at surgery or necropsy. Melanocytes may be found in peritoneal fluid, giving a clue to the diagnosis. Malignant melanomas have also been reported in goats. A tumor in the spinal cord can cause neurologic signs. |
