| 英文描述 | Epistaxis due to nasal trauma can occur in any species, whether internal trauma such as a foreign body injury or nasal tube, or external trauma leading to a fracture of the facial area. After the acute injury there can be stenosis of the nares or other part of the nasal tract due to mechanical obstruction. Nasopharyngeal stenosis due to a thin membrane of inflammatory origin has been reported in cats following chronic upper respiratory infection. Dx by history, passage of catheters through the nose, and radiography. |
