| 英文描述 | Beta-mannosidosis, a lysosomal storage disease categorized as a glycoproteinosis and inherited as an autosomal recessive, was diagnosed in Salers-breed calves. Clinical signs were present at birth, and included a slightly domed head, slight protrusion of the lower jaw, narrow eye openings, abundant purplish gums, and caudally directed ears. The skin seems tightly adhered to the body. There is a deficiency of beta-mannosidase in affected calves. Dx at necropsy and through biochemical analysis. |
