| 英文描述 | In Britain, a syndrome of udder asymmetry has been seen in both housed cattle and in those at pasture. Onset is indidious and unilateral, with one or two quarters smaller than the others. Milk yield is reduced in affected quarters. This has been seen as early as two weeks after calving. There is no obvious genetic involvement. The cause is unknown, although one possibility is inadequate milking from affected quarters, leading to involution. |
