| 英文描述 | A series of cows was described which developed hepatic failure following sepsis due to mastitis or metritis. The cows had anorexia despite apparent cure of the primary disease. Elevation of serum liver enzymes was common; there was decreased hepatic function (elevated BSP half-life) and hepatic lesions including either hepatocellular necrosis or vacuolization were found at liver biopsy. Treatment is supportive, and the prognosis seems good for recovery if treatment is economically reasonable. |
