| 英文描述 | An idiopathic encephalopathy has been reported in Limousin or Lumousin cross calves. They are normal at birth, but at 1-4 months of age they start to lift the fore legs excessively and appear blind and confused. Both sexes have been affected. Pathologic lesions include brain swelling, necrosis of the opic chiasma, and focal areas of myelin sheath vacuolation or demyelination in the brain. Believed to be inherited. |
