| 英文描述 | Liver abscesses are common, especially in feedlot cattle, but when small do not cause clinical signs. Abscesses usually contain FUSOBACTERIUM NECROPHORUM, although other bacteria and fungi can also be involved, and can cause problems when large and necrotic. Dx by ultrasound, surgery or slaughter. Abscesses have also been seen in sheep and goats; ACTINOMYCES is a common isolate. |
