| 英文描述 | Skin lesions due to zinc deficiency have been produced experimentally and suspected clinically when there was low zinc in the diet associated with high calcium. Dx by low hair or blood zinc levels, or response to zinc supplementation. Horn growth is inhibited. Clinical disease is uncommonly recognized in the field. Blood samples for zinc levels can easily be contaminated by needles, bottles or rubber stoppers. Wool eating can be an early sign in sheep. |
