| 英文描述 | The intermediate stage of the tapeworm TAENIA can invade the CNS of domestic animals; clinical signs due to this syndrome are most common in young sheep and cattle. Signs are due to the growth of the parasite in the brain and depend on the location of lesions. Cyst can occasionally rupture through the cranium, and there may be softening of the skull. Dx by identification of the parasite at radiography, surgery or necropsy. |
