| 英文描述 | Adult multicentric lymphosarcoma occurs in animals over 2 yrs old. Caused by a retrovirus, bovine leukemia virus (BLV). Affected animals have a titer to the virus, although a few false-negatives can occur. Many clinically normal cattle also have titers, and infection with BLV does not directly affect the animals' productivity, outside of the few infected animals that develop malignant lymphoma. Dx by clinical signs, biopsy, necropsy and demonstration of the virus or titer. Liver involvement can lead to jaundice. |
