| 中文描述 | 這是一種由壞死梭形菌所引起的疾病，會造成喉頭壞死與疼痛；常常與其他病原如化膿放線菌混和感染。最常發生於年輕動物，尤其是在飼養場的環境下。綿羊與牛一樣，都會感染此疾病。感染後會造成嚴重的呼吸困難與死亡。診斷依據以臨床症狀，以及對喉部的檢查與觸診為主。繼發性的肺炎是一個很嚴重的併發症。 |
| 英文描述 | This condition is a necrotizing painful lesion of the larynx caused by FUSOBACTERIUM NECROPHORUM; mixed infection with other organisms, particularly ACTINOMYCES PYOGENES, is common. Most common in younger animals, particularly in feedlots. Sheep can be affected as well as cattle. Can cause severe respiratory distress and death. Dx by signs and inspection and palpation of the larynx. Secondary pneumonia is a serious complication. |
