| 英文描述 | A pluronic-type detergent bloat drench was given to 32 calves in New Zealand by placing the drug in milk. Over the next 24 hours, 28 died in convulsions. It is possible that the drug is rapidly passed into the abomasum, leading to toxicity in immature ruminants. Affected calves commonly develop ruminal tympany. Dx by history and analysis of abomasal and ruminal content. |
