| 英文描述 | Multiple ocular defects have been seen in Jerseys, Shorthorns, crossbred beef cattle, and incomplete albino cattle. A congenital anterior staphyloma has been reported in a Holstein calf. Some of these might be due to an autosomal recessive gene. Defects are congenital. Irideremia, microphalmos, an absent anterior chamber, corneal opacities, synechia,, microphakia, lens luxation and cataracts might be present in various combinations. Multiple ocular defects have also been described in foals. Dx by ophthalmic examination and history. |
