| 英文描述 | Chuzan virus is a member of the Palyam subgroup of the ORBIVIRUS genus that was isolated in Japan. From 1985-1986 an epizootic of congenital hydranencephaly and cerebellar hypoplasia affecting about 2,500 calves was seen in Japan. 92% of the 139 of those calves examined had precolostral antibody titers for Chuzan virus. An increase in abortion rates was not seen during the epizootic. The virus was not isolated from affected calves, but epidemiologic studies indicated that the infection with Chuzan virus in utero developed at around 130 days of gestation. |
