| 英文描述 | Septicemia is usually due to ESCHERICHIA COLI in immunodeficient calves under 2 weeks old but several other organisms have also been involved. Confirmation of diagnosis requires blood culture or culture at necropsy. Clinical signs in an immunodeficient calf are strong evidence of septicemia. Death can be rapid or occur up to 3 weeks after blood cultures are positive. Diarrhea might or might not accompany the septicemia. |
