| 英文描述 | Spinal muscular atrophy (lower motor neuron disease) has been reported in Horned Hereford, Red Danish, Brown Swiss, Brunvieh, and Holstein-Friesian calves. Initial signs are seen at birth to 8 weeks of age with rapid progression of signs, including atrophy of the limb and axial muscles, until the animal can not stand. Neuronal degeneration in the spinal cord is the hallmark of this disease. |
