| 英文描述 | A foal had a large, air-distended, midcervical swelling that could be manually deflated but would slowly refill. Cartilagenous structures could be palpated extending laterally from the trachea. Radiography showed an air-filled sac enveloping the trachea; surgery and histologic examination confirmed a diagnosis of accessory lung. A subcutaneous ectopic lung in the cervical region of a calf has also been mentioned (Davis et al.). |
