| 英文描述 | At about a month of age, related Brahman calves developed progressive muscular weakness which was exacerbated by exercise and improved with rest (Thompson). There was increasing weakness with sustained exertion. They remained bright and alert. In one calf there was a transient response to edrophonium chloride and for a longer period to pyridostigmine bromide and there was a decrease in amplitude of the evoked muscle action potential on repeated stimulation of a peripheral nerve. (Thompson). This condition resembles myasthenia gravis, a defect of neuromuscular transmission. |
