| 英文描述 | Mares rarely carry twin fetuses to term, and twinning is considered one of the major causes of abortion in mares. Dx by detection of twin pregnancy. Cattle also frequently calve early due to twins, calves may be weak, and fetal wastage is associated with twins. Twinning is heritable and is associated with high production and increasing age in dairy cattle. |
