| 英文描述 | Sudden death following respiratory distress was reported in an inbred group of Japanese Black calves in Japan. Deaths usually occurred before 30 days of age, but the maximum age was 120 days. At necropsy there was dilation of the left ventricle. Histology showed fresh focal degeneration and necrosis of muscle fibers and granulation or scar tissue in the myocardium. Animals carrying this autosomal recessive condition were eliminated and the disease is now rare. |
