| 英文描述 | Organophosphates and carbamates are cholinesterase inhibitors, and cause signs of overstimulation of the parasympathetic nervous system. Dx by history of exposure and determination of blood and brain cholinesterase activity. A delayed onset syndrome of paraparesis has been seen in pigs, sheep, cattle, and possibly goats and cats. Some sheep are more susceptible to organophosphate toxicosis due to low plasma A esterase levels. This is a common toxicosis in dogs and cats. |
