| 英文描述 | First calf heifers occasionally freshen with one or more nonfunctional quarters. In one study 38 of 1177 cattle had one or more blind quarters. Histologic evidence indicated that this was due to failure to develop duct tissue rather than ductal obliteration by infection. Heritabilty was 0, and this appears to be due to environmental factors. |
