| 英文描述 | Uncommon. Organisms associted with nontuberculous mycobacterial mastitis include MYCOBACTERIUM FORTUITUM, M. SMEGMATIS, M. VACCAE, M. PHLEI, M. FLAVESCENS, M. CHELONEI and MYCOBACTERIA belonging to RUNYON group IV. Often associated with treatment with contaminated intramammary products. Usually presents as a herd problem of mastitis unresponsive to therapy, with inflamed and indurated quarters, as is often seen in yeast and nocardia infection. Although treatment is usually ineffective, spontaneous recovery can occur during the dry period in some cases. |
