| 英文描述 | A syndrome of dermatitis, pyrexia and (sometimes) hemorrhage has been reported from Britain and the Netherlands. This syndrome affects silage-fed dairy cattle during the winter months. Morbidity has varied from 4-90% and mortality has been as high as 25%. There is an initial dermatitis primarily of the head, neck, back, udder and tailhead, in association with fever. Hemorrhage from the nostrils and anus may occur. The cause is unknown, although mycotoxins including citrinin have been a suspected cause (Griffiths and Done) and there is no treatment. There may be a gradual loss of condition even after the acute phase is over. |
