| 英文描述 | Cows in advanced pregnancy, especially those with twins, may develop a syndrome of severe ketosis similar to pregnancy toxemia in sheep and goats. Provision of inadequate nutrition to overfat cows in the last 6 weeks of pregnancy has reproduced the disease. Dx by severity of ketosis and signs in a cow in advanced pregnancy. Signs of nervous ketosis may occur, and severely affected cows often die. |
