| 英文描述 | Adult Meuse-Rhine-Yssel cattle in the Netherland and Holstein-Friesian cows in Japan developed a muscular dystrophy characterized by histologically evident degeneration of muscle fibers. Lesions are worst in the diaphragm, but other muscle is also involved. This is not due to vitamin E or Se deficiency. Dx by histologic exam of affected tissue. No treatment was described; a genetic cause is suspected, and this has been associated with dilated cardiomyopathy. |
