| 英文描述 | Papillomatous digital dermatitis is a very important cause of lameness in dairy cattle, particularly in free stalls. Lesions begin as a superficial inflammation of the skin of the digit; mature lesions are circumscribed, are erosive or proliferative, and are usually on the hind feet adjacent to the interdigital ridge and heel bulbs. May be seen on more than one foot. Spread through the herd as if infectious, but the cause is unknown. There is evidence that this disease is associated with a spirochete; the agent might belong to the genus TREPONEMA. |
