| 英文描述 | Dwarfism is inherited in many breeds of cattle, including most of the major breeds. Both chondrodysplasitic disproportionate dwarves and proportionate miniature dwarves have been described. The incidence is especially high some Hereford bloodlines; in addition to failure to grow, bloating is a common finding in these animals. Congential chondrodystrophy that appeared to be due to environmental rather than inherited causes has been described (Gunn et al.). |
