| 英文描述 | Rare. One case has been reported of a metallic foreign body in the duodenum of a cow causing traumatic duodenitis, with signs very similar to intussusception. There are also reports of duodenal obstructions due to adhesions, compressive abscesses, trichobezoars, fibrous strictures, strangulation by the uterus in late pregnancy, and entrapment by the round ligament of the liver. Diagnosis and treatment require surgery. Hypochloremia and metabolic alkalois are common in affected animals. |
