| 英文描述 | While there is no direct experimental evidence that Bovine Herpesvirus-4 causes abortion in cattle, in a case-control study in Belgium the seroprevalence of BHV-4 in aborted cattle was higher than in a control group. Abortions in animals with a positive titer to BHV-4 occurred between the fifth and ninth month of gestation. It is possible that BHV-4 is a risk factor for bovine abortion. BHV-4 has been associated with endometritis endometritis in dairy cattle. Similarly, BHV-4 was isolated from milk of cows with clinical mastitis, but attempts to cause mastitis with this agent have not been reported. |
